      Wow looks like you had some water in there for a while. There some performance fuel pumps from AEM. I think maybe more flow will keep the pump cooler & the regulator will maintain pressure regardless of the higher pump pressure. http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/avm-50-1000/overview/

      For a good one look at AEM. Airtex E8213 is replacement. Fits a 1996 Toyota Corolla too.
