Yes, you have to remove the rad. It probably needs to be cleaned anyways. Mine sure did. No need to take the rack and the hood off and all that. My repair manual told me you needed to do all that, but I was like.... no way! I was right, It'll just slide right out the side. The job looks hard at first, but it is really pretty simple. I never did it before and I just figured it out. Took me like 3 hours, but taking me sweet sweet time, with breaks in between.
