This is a original BLUE plastic that had been 'plasti-coated' CandyApple over a Pearl base. After a few years, the paint simply lost adhesion wherever the plastic had flexed. Bondo was used as a filler on all the missing paint spots. Rustoleum-Automotive rattle can primer, 2coats Rusto cherry red enamel, 1 light coat Rusto 'metallic' red, 2coats Rusto clear.
The seat re-covered with 'boat-quality' material. (Thicker and more elastic than auto) Notice no-seams!
New carburetor, battery, hoses, pump, brakes, and all 10year service items.
