Hey guys, new member here. Before taking it to the local BRP dealer, I figured I would share my issue here: After my last ride, my G2 2014 Renegade 800R is having idle issues which begin approximately 30 seconds from cold start. The engine idle surges and seems to not run very well (possibly...

My buddy is currently looking to buy a new Can Am straight from the dealership. He's stuck between a left over yellow 2011 800r for $9300 after tax or the 2013 1000 pure magnesium for $12,300. Any suggestions on the better choice? Mainly wants the 1000 for the color but also likes the extra power.

Hey guys, I have a tough choice to make. I have an opportunity to get a plain jane gade 1000 for $9800 + tax. No hidden fees. Or a 800R (both 2012) for $9500 +tax no hidden fees. Neither is the Xxc of course. Now, the 800r I can go pick up anytime. The 1000...who knows? No dealer in my area...

I recently took a 2011 800 XTP for test ride and noticed that it didn't have the low end power that the 800 H.O. had, it certainly wasn't bad by any means, but it seemed as though it was lacking. I will say this though mid range and top end was better. I'm reasonbly certain that the ECU has been...
