Hello,
I need a new carb for my 07 ds250 (mine is missing pieces) and I'm not really that interested in spending like $300 on the OEM carb so I figured I would look into upgrading and possibly saving some cash.

I have searched everywhere I can think of for any info on upgrading the carb on my ds and really haven't turned up much. My machine has a FMF slip on, uni filter and clutch kit. I am pretty handy and can make any reasonable mods that would need done. I was thinking something along the lines of a PZ30 with accelerator pump.

1. Would it just bolt on? If no is it doable?

2. Would it be any better than the stock one?

3. If its not an option does anyone have a cost-effective option for a non-factory carb that would at minimum perform like the original?

Thanks in advance for the help.
