Just wondering here did the XMR 800 for 2015 receive some type of gear reduction? At 25 MPH I'm seeing ~4000RPM on those big 30" silver backs. This surely is not geared like a regular 800XT? Just wondering what people's opinions are?

Alright I can confirm the 800 and 1000 have the same gearing. Compared RPM's vs speed on the same road side by side with a 2015 1000 XMR. I though this bike turned higher rpms' then normal. 4300rpm @25mph.
