can you do the electrical troubleshooting yourself ? how about rebuilding front end if needed ? are you in a hurry to ride it ?
this bike in my neck of the woods would still be listed at 4/ish K in trail ready condition . if you can do the troubleshooting/repairs yourself , at least go look at it . if you gotta rely on a dealer to get it fixed up , then i wouldnt mess with it .
i know for sure that I would already be on my way to look at it anyway.....with trailer in tow

That ain't a bad price for what your getting from the looks of it. For sure if you were parting it out you would get your money back. Like jimmycream said, if your feel comfortable working on it yourself you should at least take a closer look at it.
