2011 commander 1000x

Howdy there peeps, new to the site. Been checking it out fur a few months now, and we’ll came to a dead end. So I bought this 2011 can am commander 1000x this year Feb 22, didn’t get to use it much till past couple months. So been fixing this and that and has had this issue that just kept getting worse and now nothing. So hear it is, first off had troubles with me keys not reading here and there, then the odd little fucking wiring issues doing kind of weird things here and there, then started bogging down just hear and there. Then last couple times it started after about 10 mins it would just bog right down like to me sounded like she wasn’t getting any fuel. Then the last time made it two mins away tried climbing a little incline that I’ve done doing 90 days before and it wouldn’t pull itself up. Brought back now won’t run sounds like no fuel. Took the line off the pump it was pumping pretty decent but no psi on my gauge. Cleaned all connectors, tested power to pump one read 12.** and thee other was 4.** 12 stayed on all the time and the 4 only came on when I turned thee key and stayed on. Took lines off at injectors and had fuel up to them Havnt checked yet if it was going threw as had just read a post on here something like that. I kind of think it could be the pump but as I got reading posts on here opened up a huge can a worms and could be volt regulator, the ignition the keys, power to the pump, ground wires and list goes on apologies if this don’t make sense as it’s got me brain all over the place. Hopefully someone out there kind of had something similar to my bad explanation of its events..
sorry for the long story.
thanks in advance.

So a couple things that might help you figure out which direction to chase:

You need to borrow an EFI system pressure tester kit from your local auto parts store, the Oreilly and AutoZone near me both rent them as parts of their loaner tools program. You need to confirm your fuel pump and system is holding 51 psi all the time. I'm going with your pump being the likely culprit here

Secondly, the DESS has to be "happy", to fire the injectors. If you're having ignition switch/key issues, the DESS likely isn't allowing the injectors to pulse. You could be seeing fuel to the injectors, but they ain't spraying it into the combustion chamber.

Need to discern which issue you've got, but should be a relatively simple fix.

Slap a new set of plugs in while you're at it, these things are hard on 'em.

Hey thanks yah I’ll test to see if I getting a pulse there but I got to thinking meself probably the pump it had really good flow when I took the line off but I guess if there last a lack a pressure it’s garbage, I took it out few days back and pump had a bunch a crap come out of it when I flushed it out. But when I get to talking it again here I’ll get back to yaah with the findings.
Thanks BombardierBomb

If it's your fuel pump, check out Quantum's offering for our machines, hard to beat the price/warranty, etc.
