2014 1000 Max Limited rear suspension problems

Can anyone tell me how to set my 2014 Outlander Max Limited rear air suspension? When I set the suspension to a higher setting, basically anything above 1. When I shut the machine off and restart it, it returns to the number one setting, it won't hold anything higher, super frustrating when hauling a heavy load or riding double. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If possible email me direct at [email protected]

Thanks for the post but I have the same problem. I also feel that the front spring and shocks are weak. Put two 200 pound people on the quad and go riding for the day. Front end is weak the springs in the front are maxed out trying to firm up the ride and you still bottom out and the rear you are resetting the ride height when you shut off the quad Very frustrating. Any suggestions. I have this thought about front fox air shocks like the xmr or just replace the air ride with regular four fox shocks and springs? Please, help.
The factory air shocks suck. I have a '14 XMR and there was nothing I could do about keeping the front end from bottoming out. No stiffer springs existed that I could find. Thought about making some, but the shocks are so crappy I can't imagine anyone buying them.

Bottom line, an upgrade here will make a huge difference.
I got the elka's, but elka boned me bad, so I can't really recommend them, but they sure do ride nice now that all the screwing around is done. Fox are nice too.
