I have noticed this issue since I got my 2014 commander max XT. At very low speed, less than 1 mph, I noticed when I slightly press the gas pedal the machine clutch stutters as if it doesn't want to fully engage and will continue to do this until I increase the speed then the shuttering goes away and the machine runs perfectly normal. Has anyone else noticed this with their machine? Is this due to the design of the clutch and is normal or do I have an issue? I mainly notice it when loading the machine onto my trailer.

That's normal with stock clutching. Can Am's work better if you stab the throttle slightly when first starting out to get the belt to grip.

May be some help
I have 2014. If your are getting noise or it not pulling like before , take the time to change the belt. Mine did the same thing I only had under 50 on my first belt change . Bikes like new, and it's very easy to do..?
