2015 800XMR cluster swap with 2015 1000XMR cluster

I was wondering if anybody knows if I can swap out my Outlander 800XMR guage cluster with the 1000XMR cluster. I would like to have the analog/digital guage with the temp guage the 1000XMR has. A friend of mine has a 2012 outlander and did this swap with no problems. Anyone here know for sure this would work for my 2015 XMR?

Im sure you will be fine. Everything is the same from 2012 and up. I found a youtube vid of a guy who had the XT and swapped his out with the XTP gauge you just have to buy the gauge and the pod as well.

I want to do this to my 15 800 also. do you have to install a temp sender on the motor or is it already there?

Never heard of anyone having to do that...from what I understand it's a plug and snap in install....pretty easy from what I've seen...could be wrong though...

I watched a few vids on it. Gota buy a new pod also. The gauges are factory set to kph. Apparently you have to hook it up to buds to get it to show mph
