I just put 50 miles on my new outlander l 570 yesterday. I love it. The problem is I've been out of the game for a while so it's hard for me to review. I chose the outlander instead of the sportman even though I could have got alot better deal on 15 sportsman. I test drove them both and I liked the power and smoothness of the can am (twin cylinder). also I liked the looks better. The sportsmans ride was a nice and stable, floaty like ride. The can am is tighter and less soft. Compared to my 10 year old arctic cat the power and aceleration is awesome. I can't emagine what 800's and 1000's are like. I was taking it easy for the break in period but I hit 62 and it was still climbing. I just picked it up last week and can't wait to get back out. I bought this machine for hunting, trail riding and plowing.

I can compare it too my old outlander 500, I also own a yamaha grizzly 550, and my boss has two Polaris 570's.

Power: The new outty 570 definitely has some great power. It has the fastest top speed of 72. The Polaris does 60 the Yamaha also does 60. The Polaris has the best low end but with the new Rotax 570 it is super close in low end. The outty has the best mid range of the three.

The Polaris being a single cylinder is not very smooth. It vibrates all of the plastic and is not a very smooth motor. The Yammi is a lot smoother, even though it also is a single. The outlander (being a v-twin)is easily the smoothest, it runs great and has the best sounding motor.

Ride: The Yamaha is probably the roughest, but by no means is it rough. The Outty and PoPo ride about the same. (The better riding to the Can am but that is pry because the shocks are a little softer.)

Quality and Reliability: The Polaris is easily the cheapest. The seat does not fit correctly. The motor is not smooth. All of the plastic rivets in the foot wells fall out and the wells sag. I have replaced both of the polaris radiators twice because they cracked (one cracked when it had less than 10 hours on it). The Yamaha has 3000 miles and no problems yet. The outty only has 500 miles so can't say much about it, but previous can am's have had good quality and have been very reliable.

Side note: The new outty 570 brakes are not squeaky like my old outty 500 brakes were but I am not sure about longevity yet. The 570 also has a lot better low end compared to the old 500.

This is my first review so if you want to know anything else let me know.
