That looks similiar to the issue I was having. That is a cover paper that you can peel off and expose the label underneath.

still chasing this gremlin in the fan. Replaced the OE one with a SPAL (best decision ever!) after the old one clapped out. New fan won’t come on after letting the bike come up to temp, but tests okay if I manually trigger the relay

relay has two positive feeds (presumably 1 from the 25a fan circuit breaker, other I’m guessing from the thermostat?)

Any guidance?

 

Did you unplug the temp sensor to see if the fan comes on ?
