We just purchased a 2020 can am definder pro xp with 10 hours on it. We had the right hand outboard c.v. joint break. Explain why this is not covered under warranty? Why does can am not back a 20,000 dollar machine. Maybe we went down the wrong road and bought from the wrong company

Yep shoulda bought a polaris.....They never break just like every other brand doesn't break. Try a different dealer or fix it yourself, not hard to do. I have had over 10000 miles on a couple of defenders and never touched an axle.

That's the oldest non-warranty scam in the book, the old broken CV axle. If it's got a torn boot, they'll deny the claim. Well, genius, 99.9% of the time when the axle fails, it rips the boot, duh.

You have GOT to hold your selling dealer more accountable for service after the sale. Don't let them just make their money on you and wash their hands.
