I have a 2023 Can-am Outlander 850 XT with about 1,500 miles that when put in reverse and push throttle, it revs up as if I push in throttle but I did not push much. Then I have to apply brakes and revs back down and shuts off saying now in Limp Mode. I already changed the belt to an OEM Can-am one and it's still doing it. Anyone had this problem? Any tips would be appreciated. TIA

Need to see what the code is. When it throws the code and it is active go to the settings and see what the code is.

I will say this though, it all started when I broke a u joint completely in half and the shaft coming out from the gearbox was just spinning freely. After I got the bike out from where I was, I left it in neutral and while checking out the damage it revved up and then back to normal in about 2 seconds. After that, I immediately turn it off in neutral to be able to haul it back to the trailer and load it up. After ordering a new rear complete prop shaft and installing it, I turn it on no problem and I put it in reverse and it revved up again as if I pressed the throttle and I slam the brakes, a loud beep sound comes on and dash says LIMP MODE then shuts off. I start reading forums and most of them say worn out belt. So I replace it. Problem occurs again. I look more into it and I read that one way bearing might need to be looked at, throttle cable might be loose on throttle body. I will continue to look into it and see what i can do.

What does it do when you put it in forward? You should become more familiar with your machine as it is drive by wire so no throttle cable. When your drive shaft let loose im betting that it hit some wiring or something that is causing your issue. Time to get the flashlight out and start pulling plastics and looking for the issue, I would also take it to a shop and get it scanned as that limp mode code should be stored in the history and should put you closer to the issue. One way bearing is really not going to have any bearing on your throttle up isse, same with changing the belt they have noting to do with throttle.
