I just picked up my 2025 Outlander Max 1000R
I still have it on my trailer and have not had a chance to ride it. One problem I have already detected is that it occasionally will not start unless the brake lever is squeezed...other times it will start without squeezing the brake lever.
When it does not start (starter motor does not engage), the rest of the electrical system is on and operating. I took it back to the dealer and they said it must be a new safely feature Can Am included for 2025.This explanation sounded made up to me. If it's a safely feature, why does this occur only occasionally? Can anyone with a 2025 comment one way or another. My previous 2013 Outlander Max 1000 started in Neutral or Park without having to squeezing the brake.
Another issue is the front trunk latch only latches on one side and there is no adjustment.
Pretty poor start for a $17,000 ATV.
