Besides my Renegade, I also have a 400EX that I ride at the Dunes. Generally the more paddles per tire the better traction. Straight paddles are best for drag racing and V shaped paddles are better tires for playing.

The more paddles the more power it takes. Sand eats alot of power. I have used both straight and v blade. I prefer the straight 8 blade skat traks. Front runners make a huge difference in steering too.

8-10 would work great. I run a 6 blade...spins more off the line and helps keep my front end down and keeps the r's up in softer sand.

It depends on if your just ridding or racing? These bikes like lots of paddles.
I agree. Bigger heavier bikes like more paddles or straight racing. For me playing on my ktm I have to run 6 to keep it from hooking and wheelieing all the time.
