Absolutely crushed......Stolen 2015 Renegade

I haven't been on here in awhile as I've been completely crushed about the theft of my 2015 1000xxc Gade. I had just returned from a four day trip to WV and someone must have seen us unloading and they broke in to my building and stole it the very day I got back.
I went to the "Mudbash" event at Busco beach this weekend hoping that I would see it there in some form, but no luck. More than likely it's been stripped down and sold for parts or not even in the state.
I'm waiting on insurance to give me a final number on what they will cover. My home owners is pretty solid and looks like I may get replacement cost on the quad and then a decent amount on all the additions.
I don't even know what I'm going to do next. I don't feel like building another Renegade as the whole thing has me sick feeling just thinking about it.

Sorry for your loss.

I have Progressive on my machine never knew homeowners would cover it. good luck getting gback in the saddle whichever route you choose.
That's terrible, hopefully the insurance will pull through & give you top $ for it.
I feel your pain. Our garage was broken into several years ago while we were out of town and my garage got cleaned out. I have a feeling whoever did it had been watching our house for a while and when there were no fresh snow tracks in the driveway for a few days they knew they had it all to themselves. I too felt sick over it for a long time, but mostly I felt pissed off that some low life punks felt entitled to everything that I had worked hard for. If I could have gotten ahold of them, I'd probably have wound up in jail. There's nothing I despise more than a thief.
Just be glad its insured. Theres a lot of guys that have no coverage for theirs and they are often never returned.
That sucks, sorry to hear bout that. Mine didn't get stolen, but possibly totaled. Waiting to hear from my insurance as to what they are gonna do. I get a disgusting feeling that they are gonna total it and not give me enough to get another one. Hope they do enough to cover yours....
The Insurance typically pays the book value of the machine which is new value minus depreciation, so a $12,000 new machine is likely getting bought at $8-10,000. Now you need to try and replace it with that money! Its hard to do! Plus you have a deductible often.
Who can y'all recommend for getting my 13 outlander 650xt with bbk insured through?

Yeah, unfortunately everything here is pretty spot on. Homeowners generally wont cover any vehicle to its full replacement value. Then whatever your deductible is (most carry $500-$1000) that gets taken off the top. In the end you'll be lucky to recover 75% of the actual value, not including any aftermarket components.
You can buy Replacement value Insurance on cars, but I'm not sure if its available on atvs. My somewhat rare car I put under replacement value insurance because its worth $10,000 now but book value says its worth $1,500. Its all about the market, and the market is hot on this car. Just a scenario to think about for some people…….
what a scum bag. woulda loved to catch him in the act for ya bro
