Are these headers suppose to be glowing red when it is idling? Just tinkering with the machine tonight and noticed this. Particularly the front one. Didn't take the heat shield off to check the rear. I mean GLOWING RED! Normal?

Do you have the quiet cores and spark arrestors in it?

I've never looked at mine at night to know if they glow.

Yes I do. I did notice the rear glows also. I talked to VFJ. He wanted me to disconnect the negative battery cable overnight to clear all learned settings from when that crank sensor wire melted to the front header. He said expect to see the headers glow red for about 4-6 inches which is normal for stainless. Told him I have no active codes stored at the moment. He said it couldn't hurt to disconnect overnight. Try that I guess but I'm pretty convinced it's normal unless someone tells me otherwise. But man they get red!

Ya know, im red/green color blind, so I would probably never see mine glow. I worked it SUPER HARD this winter, and I'm sure they were glowing after this run, but I never looked! lol
I'll start watching now!
