Shoot, those problems don't sound that bad, lol, thinking back to when I resurrected mine from its decade-long? barn slumber...

But is there a thread somewhere you created, for this? I'm trying to figure out why it's in a light bar thread :p

I agree, a new thread. Fixing nightmare problems like this need dedicated threads.

Agreed, sorry bout that my bad....
It’s alright bro. Let me know if you need help wiring in the LED bar.

I do want to make a few comments.
1. That jack you have is old as shit.
2. You have a lot of miscellaneous lumber cluttering your work space.
3. You need to sweep that floor
4. You are out of your mind if you have your wife help you work on anything mechanical.

C) Floor..... got me on that one... a app-lo-gize
D) touché’ nuff said on that one.... lol

And now i miss my boat....badly!
Thanks ;)
Very nice looking one you have there.

Light bars, stereo, electronics, riggers, floor plan, stand up canopy, trolling mtr, sigh...so many good hours modifying then using.
That thing was a fish catching machine.

Next ones going to be a jet.
Sacramento river salmon and stripers are calling my name.

Srry again.
Back to light bars and dirty garages.
Great install on your op btw if I didnt say it already.

If anyone is interested, here’s what I put on and the particulars.

Great information and write up - thanks.

I’ll be looking to add the same light bar soon but will probably go for a direct battery connection so I can use it with the ignition off when night shooting.

I’m interested in the accessory power connectors you’ve tracked down because I want to feed a Garmin GPS handlebar mount, and DC5 or DC6 look to be suitable candidates - I suspect one is already taken by the dealer installed heated grip/throttle combo though. Do you have any idea where the DC1 & DC3 connectors that are fed from fuse F3 are located? They’ve disappeared off to the right on the wiring diagram you’ve posted above.

See attached pics for DC3. DC1 is your “cigarette lighter”. Let me know if you have any questions, I’m happy to help.

Thanks for that, much appreciated.

What type of connector is that? I see a Delphi-Packard Weatherseal to the right and above the one you’ve marked, is that another spare accessory supply?

I was able to find the open accessory plug under the pod, my dealer had a splitter and the female connector parts in stock. Here is a picture of the splitter and female parts.

plug parts I bought from the dealer so it still leaves me an open accessory plug for lights.
