it was a belt that i ordered from amazon model (niche) suppose which is compatible with my utv. On the video it is the old brp belt worn. I have tried the 2 without succes same problem.
The ribs on the belt should ride outside the outer edge of the secondary, and it should not be "saggy"....should be taught.I will order new belt directly at BRP for test it
Part number : 422280280
Here is a photo of the belt (Niche)
Hmmm...I've had a STM secondary on all my machines since 2007....I've hardly fiddled with the stock secondarys...never occurred to me they weren't adjustable. You can't. What belt part number did you order?
Correct number. 715900024.Outlander 400 XT 2008 (carb)
I mean, not that I've ever heard of or even been hinted at. Other than springs or clutch kits, it would take some shims or something, in the stock secondary, to change the sheaves distance and belt tension. I'm not aware of any such products/applications.stock secondarys...never occurred to me they weren't adjustable.
