I recently put a t4s set on my Outlander1000 max xtp. I had a friend do a ECU reflash which made a big difference. But I have to say. Braking is much less effective with the tracks on than with wheels. Has anyone else noticed this. Thanks.

Are you talking engine braking or from the brakes? If the brakes, they can ice up and lose a lot of braking power. Mine will do it in the right conditions since I have the outboard front calipers like the Renegade. If that happens, I sometimes ride the front lever to heat the caliper and melt the ice. I don't think the other 2 Outty's have that issue, at least as much as my XXC.
Make sure you don't have any moisture in your brake fluid also. I've been thinking replacing the fluid and bleeding mine to make sure.
Engine braking should not be affected.

Ice sounds likely. My machine is covered in it. I dont have a garage so it lives outside. We also have had freeze thaw conditions. I will borrow s mates garage and let the machine thaw properly. Then try again. Thank you for the advice.
