Cluster could be failing but could check the big plug on back of cluster and clean.

 

Yeah just checked that and its pretty clean. Took the cluster apart and the magnet in the button still works. Don't know if I date use a stronger magnet to try and make it work dont wanna mess anything up

 

Also after the hi message the main screen goes blank. No 0mph or odometer. I can get the dps to come up and switch between settings

 

There is a speed sensor on right side of gearbox that sends speed and probably odo, which needs cleaning when dirty on tip. Unbolt the black thing with wire and pull out of hole, clean tip with rag. Your screen going blank sounds more like faulty cluster.

Not sure what year machine you have but my 2020 650 had issues with speedo not working. There was a recall on the harness for 2019 and earlier models, so the dealer put one in mine and problem was solved.
