Hi everyone,

I have just bought a outlander 570 2016 and after about 20 minutes of the first use it said on the screen limp mode overheating.

Has anybody had the same problem and if so how did you resolve it ?
I am planning on bleeding the rad tomorrow and cleaning it and also testing the fan works is there anything else I should check ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check the fan first if the coolant level is correct .
You can check by disconnecting the temp sensor on the rear jug . Fan should come on while bike is running regardless of temperature when it's un-plugged .
hi mate thanks for the reply, where’s the rear jug ?
I was just going to test the ports that connect the bike to the fan with a volt meter.

Hi mate thanks for replying, can I just jet wash it ? And if so do I need to take it of the bike or leave it on, sorry for all the questions I am brand new to can-am world, a rad on a angle doesn’t seem right to me surely it should be vertical 🤦🏼‍♂️
