I've also been waiting to see if anyone has tried it. I have 2 machines and bunch of riding buddies with Can Ams and been thinking about it.

License for 4 machines $400 is not bad if you can get 4 guys together and split the cost. But I can't seem to find enough info on it besides the one screen shot they show.

Would be nice to calibrate my speedo and get rid of the service light. I would probably feel like something was wrong after 2 years my service light has been on.

That's pretty cool! 400$ isn't bad really. I'm kinda debating getting one, just to see what it can do lol

I think we're all waiting on bigunner to dish out the cash. Those Alberta boys make the big bucks.

Alberta boys are all holding their breath hoping not to get laid off right now....trust me.

As for the aftermarket Buds system....word on another forum is/was that it just wasn't worth it for what you were allowed to do.

I more or less want it to clear the maintenance message, check codes, etc, etc. Not so much the performance aspect. Plus, I know enough guys driving around with "maintenance soon" or "hello john smith" on their display cause they bought it used,, I could charge them $40 a pop and make my money back in no time.

If your worried about getting laid off DaveB, you can come work for me this spring. I think I'm going to open an auction house, cause there's going to be a shite ton of stuff for sale soon LOL

I just sent them an email through eBay, got an answer within half an hour. Here's their answer:

1. Change the speedometer from KPH to MPH or vise versa
<> yes

2. Change the welcome message that scrolls across the instrument cluster, and is there a limit as to how long it can be?
<> yes, you can change it, there is a limit, most support 25 letters

3. Change a low performance key to high performance
<> yes, if the ECU supports multiple levels, not all do

4. Reset the Maintenance Required message and change it to not come on as often.
<> you can reset it, but you can't change when it will come on, that is hard coded in the ECU.

5. Reset the tempature that the fans turn on and off
<> not adjustable

6. Reset the rev-limiter
<> not adjustable

7. Turn off speed limiter
<> not adjustable

8. If I get a new machine can I delete the old one and enter a new one
<> no, you must purchase additional licenses, after you use the 4 that it comes with. the system can be expanded up to 15, or to unlimited

9. Does this work on all Can-Am ATVs up to current models
<> we currently support up to 2014 ECU's and Clusters. We are working on support for the DPS and Air Ride modules. And we are working to add support for 2015 models right now.

10. Is there anything else that I will need to buy to make this work, cables, plugs, interfaces or what ever.
<> Just a windows XP or newer PC

I still want to check out the diag-systems and see how much more that one will cost and what it will do compared to this one. In my case I don't have anyone to help split the costs so I gotta make sure I get the right one the first time around.

All said an done $805 canadian with one year. Yes a little pricey, but if it will pay for itself over time. My dealer is 1.5 hrs away. If I want the maint. message cleared its like $80 every time. Plus like I said, theres lots of guys here that'll gladly pay $40 for me to do it for them .

$650. For the can do system?

It was over $100 cheaper to buy it in euros than us $. It would have been $722 us dollars but it was $574 in euros. Conversion was cheaper to canadian bux. For some odd reason a 1 year license is $50 but 2 years is $150, makes no sense. And yes all that stuff is included hotrod.

Played with the demo software, actually pretty cool, you can program/tune the dps, of course run diagnostics, clear codes and messages, program keys, and more. I'm not worried about rev limiters, and flashing ecu stuff,,,,,for now. Although diag-systems are offering an ecu flasher.

I'm also hoping there isn't a limit on VINs. Especially since you gotta buy a liscence every year
