Well my kit from diag-system finally showed up. Looks exactly like the dealers, says brp on the interface box and whatnot. So I plugged it in, my laptop recognized it right away and installed drivers automatically...good sign. Opened up the software and entered in the license key and it accepted it...another good sign. Turned on the the ign key and the box lit up, screen lit up...SUCCESS!! It worked liked a champ. Programmed my grey key to performance, changed display name at start up, viewed and cleared the stored codes, reset TPS, and even activated the cooling fan, and fuel pump from the laptop. Tomorrow I'm going to try resetting the DPS. So in just one day I probably saved well over $100 labour doing the things I did. Won't take long to pay for itself. Like I said before it cost me $805 canadian to my door. This included the 1 year unlimited license as well. Very happy with it.

Thanks for the update. I was just thinking about you to find out some results. Good to hear all is as described. Do you find out if your license is for unlimited machines?

I also got mine last week. Pretty neat system, cool features and all but i kinda regret buying it lol. Not because it crap or anything it's just i don't think ill be using it as much as i thought. The one thing that it would be very useful for is diagnosing electrical systems or components and to clear codes and program some keys. I paid 841$ for mine, i'm from ontario mind you. Couldn't beleive it came from Ukraine lol

How about recalibrating the speedo to match tire sizes. Can it do it? I'm sure you can make some money from local riders. Put an ad on Kijiji. If you where closer to GTA I would bring my machines to you.

Good idea to post up an ad! Nope can't adjust cluster for tire size. There isn't much you can adjust/tune, i think it's mostly made to monitor and diagnose not really tune and play around with the performance of the machine

This is what you can do with the diag-system: you can reset the dps torque offset, reset the tps, program keys, change display message, reset "maintenance required" message, you can activate the fan, fuel pump and fuel pump pressure relief to test, theres a "WOW test" (lol that's what it says on the program) and it makes your cluster go ape ****, so im guessing it's doing a test of some electrical systems? Don't know. You can also change the language on the cluster and change it from metric to imperial.

You can monitor your rpms, engine temp, battery voltage, intake air temp, intake air pressure, throttle opening, can also check error codes and you can clear them also, and the last thing pretty much is theres history of the machine, like max rpm, min. rpm, bunch of graphs of the history of your speed and rpm and other things.

I haven't been on here in a while. Received my candoo system mainly for my sled (2015 Renegade xrs 800 etec) it allows me to reset tps, bleed oil pump, switch km to miles, advance/retard timing. Anyhow you guys don't care about all that.
Plugged it into my Renegade canam version and it allows a bunch of functions as well.
As soon as you plug it in and "read data" a message comes up prompting you to accept the VIN, so now I have used 2 of my 4.
More VINs cost 100 for 1, 150 for 2 or 250 for 5.
On the skidoo side, it seems more commonly used than the diag one you guys are talking about.
Anyhow, if anyone has any specific questions, pm me and I'll go out to the garage and have a look. cheers

unfortunately it stores the vins in the box.
However, you can download the program to multiple laptops so that if you decided to split on the system with some other guys, you'd only need to lend out the box and cables.
Also, the basic kit comes with the cables needed for canam. Skidoo is extra.
My Rene has a feature on the cluster called "race mode" with lap record and play features.
Will try and post up some screen shots later.
If you bought additional vins 5 at a time they cost 50$ each.
That diag-systems setup looks pretty cool, but on the skidoo site there was some sketchy feedback. Candoopro is made in the usa.
If I'm not mistaken, diag-systems had some russian looking links?

Bumping this thread up. Eyeballing the Candoo system myself but the website throws up a few red flags. We have about 8 can ams in our group but 2 are 2015 xmrs and mine has air ride. Have they sorted out getting support for the '15 models and air ride? Also one in the group has dps problems but website says it doesn't support dps.

If anyone's close to me, (I'm in NC) I have buds Megatech, and don't charge to do anything it can do. It can not adjust rev limit, or anything to do with fueling, or timing, so no good stuff.
However, I can adjust anything in the ecu, with a reflash, and I have a few standard flashes. The atv ecu's don't support changing tire sizes, with buds, but the sxs's do. My buds supports all years, with or without dps.
