Has anyone ever used the Quadshop Customes clutches on their machines?

Kits or full primary? Either from QSC makes a difference. Primary more so.

Qsc clutch

I bought the machine with this clutch kit on it, the primary. Question is I dont like the aggresive engine braking at low speed seems jerky, is there adjustments to this, and if so how. I plan on calling Adam at QSC I hear he is very nice guy that is always willing to help out.

I would call Adam for sure and get his opinion. Have read that some folks have taken the springs and cups out from under the one way bearing cup and that lessened it but I have never tried it.

clutch

I called and spoke with Adam he is as helpful as all the web sites say he is really good guy. There are two options 1. Replace the secondary at 525.00 or 2. Remove the Primary send to him and he will replace the 1 way bearing with a two way bearing. Cost for this around 140.00 door to door. Seems reasonable so that is the direction I am going. For now I put stock clutch in and seems much better.

On another note I am not used to the jerky start the Can-Am has. My buddy has a 2012 his is the same way, once they are going they are awesome. But soon as you press the gas peddle it seems a bit jumpy.

Thanks for the info gat and yes mine is jerky from stop to start also especially when trying to ease over stuff. I hope the clutches fix this as I ride a lot of trails and have my daughter in with me. My X is bone stock except for the windshield and blingstar suicide doors. I'm thinking primary first then tires followed by exhaust and power commander.

none of the commanders I have driven have a jerky start. This not normal, Mine is smooth acceleration, either with a stock, cvtech, or STM rage VI setup. Only time I've experienced jerky starts is with a friends that had a flat spot on the belt.
