Defender Suspension

I have a 2015 Commander that I love. It is reliable and taken me out and back safely. I am getting up in years and planning on spoiling myself and looking to buy the new 2021 Defender with air conditioning and heat. I live close to Las Vegas which gets damn 🄵 hot. I have two questions
1. Has anyone had experience with the AC I’ve heard good and bad?
2. Is the suspension on the Defender as good as the Comander? I ride on some pretty washboard and rocky trails.
Any other advice or experiences you have would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance!!

My friend just purchased the cab limited with AC. I have xt cab model from 2019. I use mine for snow plowing and it’s great. The ride is ok, I had a Kawasaki T4 before and it rode nicer but no cab. My friends version is quieter than mine and his AC works great. The auto mode is a good feature too. As far as driving on washboard I think it might a rough ride unless you soften the preload all the way down. Maybe lower your tire pressure to, that might help.
