I have an 07 outlander 800, the rear diff seems to be a g2, there is no brake caliper mounting point on it whatsoever, is it possible to get any kind of stampings from the diff to find out if it's right?? Reason I say it's not the right one is because I purchased a new drive shaft for the rear, and this has a brake disc mounting point on the drive shaft as the old one didnt, and I bot the bolt that joins the drive shaft and diff together and it won't fit in the pinion shaft to small. I've looked up the original parts directly from can am and the diff seems to be the wrong one!! Any help would be awesome. Thanks

He only had it a couple months, then I purchased it. I've been doing research on it, that's why I'm here trying to figure out if it's the right one.. I'll have pics asap

Yes, it's a 2012 diff and drive shaft that's why the pinion bolt I bot won't fit 07 takes a 10mm bolt and the 12 takes a 12mm bolt. Thanks appreciate the help
