In the 2005 traxter service manual, in the section that describes the many things that the MPEM controls, amazingly the tail light is one of them. My guess is the diodes are probably within the MPEM. It seems unlikely they would be somewhere within the wiring harness because diodes normally require a heat sink. The manual does not show any schematic detail on the MPEM. so this is but a guess.

Thx

Sounds like the best guess..I had run that through my mind but ...I unharnessed wires as from tail light to basicly fuse box area and it ain't in that area..Its Been a Electrial nightmare tracing wires from MPEM and I'm maybe 25% done..Trying to check out Harness without pulling it.(so far alls well). So when I get a replacement MPEM it works instead of fries..due to wiring problem..Fried $1000 would not be good...Looking for a cheaper one but( aint been seen)...THANKS again
