Here's my latest video from a ride last week. Yup, there is still SOME snow up in the mountains.
The video is a little longer than I wanted, but, I had some great footage I thought,
so I Hope you enjoy the video ... :th_smiliewavey:

That's awesome you still get ride in some snow! Wish we still had some. Love riding in it more than anything else. One reason it keeps your ride clean!

Those darn trees! Looks like you went a long way that day by the map you put in the vid.

We have not been out in over a month! We found out there is still more snow than we thought up high. I wish we had the tracks on today since it would have been a great spring ride. It was a dusty ride to the snow, but once there, we had a blast trying to avoid getting stuck all day.

Reminds me of the pic of Gunny stuck in the ice years ago on tracks. Quad all slanted and trying to high five the sky.

Hey Gunny!

Did that snow ever melt up there? Where have you been? Looks like this was your last post here. Stop back in and say hi!

I was wondering what was up with Gunny too. He's probably out doing all sorts of riding while we swelter in the heat and can't ride due to the dust!

What, you all miss me ?? :lachtot:

OK, "HI !!" ... now everyone can relax. Haven't been riding much this summer, not because of the dust like Dr_Z mentioned, but it has been abnormally warm here this summer & it just isn't that enjoyable to me in 100 deg temps. Only rode once in each summer month. I did put some vids together, but they aren't anything special. :th_smilienoclue:

So I'm just kinda wait'in for fall ... and I hope I do get out more. :th_smiliefrustrated

I did buy a new trailer thou & I've been modifying it to make it "Mine" ... a 35 Ft Voltage Toy Hauler ... :th_smiliethumbsup:

Great looking set up Gunny. Its good to hear from you, looking forward to your next video. I have a question for you and Dr Z. I recently had to replace my swing arm bearings at 1150 miles. Ya too soon I thought too. My dealer said he never seen this either. The long rod that runs through swing arm was full of rust and lower shock bolts rusty too. They said it was from me power washings it too much, but I can't imagine that. I think it might of been from the snow be pack up in there tight and milting and freezing. How is yours doing?
Mine are fine. I put large stainless hose clamps on the rubber covers just to be safe. (Instead of the stock clamps, and mine is a G1 chassis) I think BrianE doesn't even have clamps on his and he hasn't had any issues.

Were your bearings rusted up also?

That's OK, just because your truck passes gas doesn't mean we think any less of you.:th_smileraz:

The fires are so bad around here I think I need to go watch some trackin vids just to keep my sanity. 3 forest service firefighters just died on a new fire today!:pi_cry:

DrZ the bearings full of water and rusty, the little springs on the seals were either gone or crushed. The weather here has been warm, but not like what you and Gunny are getting. Been able to get 4to5 hours on weekends on the Quad. We have a standing policy, we meet in the parking lot at are local mall and who is ever there by Nine we take off. We have several areas we can chose from, its pretty good set up. Only one main rule, no Alcohol. Just out to have some fun.

Very nice rig you have there Gunny! Congrats! :th_smiliethumbsup:

I was starting to think you had gotten lost up in the mountains somewhere since you hadn't posted in so long. With a new rig like that, I guess maybe I was right! Hahaha!
