Anybody know if the fender extensions from the 1k xmr fit the 2015 xmr 800?

Buy the direction 2 flares, they stop a lot more mud from hittin you. They will fit if you own a heat gun and an hour or so to mold them to the area they trim off the XMR.
I will take a look at them
Kolpin has the same for a great price. You might have to call them tho. I did.
Any opinion on the xmr fender extentions? Can get the can am setup for 80-100 or the d2 kit for 160, both plus tax
I tried the canam mud guard kit. It will not work on the front fenders because they are trimmed from the factory.

Ya i figured that, i figure id need to get the fender flares that come on the xmr 1000, so thats what i priced
D 2 are $99 on the Web. I called Direction2 in Canada and they steered me to Kolpins Web site. Then I had to call them because I Couldn't find any. Got a smokin deal on them.
Ill have to call for sure, they are 160 in royal distributing
Now you will have to heat them up and tweek them on the rear of the front fenders some. I cut off an inch and a half off my XTP fenders to fit my 27's so they wouldn't rub. Very similar to the xmr factory trimming.
Koplin does have them for ~$100

They will fit if you are willing to do a fair bit of heating on the fronts (they are intended for the std outlanders, not the XMR which is factory trimmed.)

They are right next to useless if you are trying to cover up your tires after lifting it and making it wider. I still take a mud bath every time I move the bike. Even at low speeds it's flinging mud all over. Don't expect them to do much different than the stockers.
I disagree. I had the canam extentions from the book and they were a waste of money. Only stuck out about an inch and a half. The. D2's, stick out 3".... way better for me. And I have wheel spacers too...
No lift planned, just the 800 xmr doesnt come with any, if the d2 ones dont do much more then the stockers maybe i should just get the stockers that i dont have to modify for the price or probably less

Im guessing they are the same width as the stock xmr ones just made to fit a regular outty instead?
Yes.
