Working on a 2011 Renegade 800 for a friend and it's been rode hard and put up wet. He snapped the right front cv shaft, so that's how it began but as I tore it down etc long story short needs Wheel bearings and ball joints And front seal is Leaking.

I have shaft off and new ball joints installed plus bearings etc and figured I'd change seal while I had the extra room there from being disassembled. Drive shaft to motor is removed and trying to get bolt out of cup on front chunk and the cup just spins and can't seem to hold it and loosen bolt at same time. Was wondering if it was because I have all right side stuff off?? I can turn cup easily by hand, I assumed with left side all assembled it wouldn't turn easily. Any opinions and suggestions are welcome.

answered my own ?

Just install cv axle and wheel hub as well as brake caliper. Use the brakes to hold it while you loosen the bolt.
