Hey guys is there anyone around the fairbanks area who can replace a rear output shaft on outlander 1000xt. Dealer is quoting over 2k to replace in labor alone. Seems excessive but does it seem reasonable to you? Thanks

Turn engine so gearbox comes out left side. It will come out.

 

So you have to let go all the engine mounts and twist the engine?

So I put this gearbox back in the quad put everything back together an the quad has no power and the engin seems very slow to get up to revs

 

Does it move in low, high, reverse? Stays still in neutral and park?

Clutching or fuel issue.
