I have 2011 800 also and mine kills after start up but not that fast, mine takes like 10-15 sec. maybe more, like you can hear it like it's getting enough fuel then not etc. like the fuel injection is working but not giving the proper amount of fuel or something. Usually only does it once though, and mainly when cold outside. I keep a maintainer on battery at all times too, I just wish it would stay running, with FI there is really no excuse.
