I installed a CVtech primary on my 2018 Renegade 1000. The belt is now touching and he other sheave and causing the secondary to spin in park or neutral. This makes it hard to shift through P, H, L and neutral. One way bearing is working fine. Easily shifts when engine isn’t running

Will adding a shim to the stock secondary fix the issue? If so, does anyone know what shim is needed?

If the one-way was working correctly you can leave the secondary tight...it will adjust itself to the width of the belt. If the one-way is dragging, or the clutches are misaligned, causing the primary to drag on the belt on one side or the other, then yes, shimming the secondary out will "fix" the issue....but something is not right.

Primary spring was worn a bit after 2 years of hard riding. Replaced the spring, new clutch shoes and added the HD bolts. Shifts nice and smooth, is more quiet now
