Hey. I was looking at getting a hmf swamp series xl for my outlander. Anyone else have one? Was wondering how loud they really are. Hard to tell from YouTube.
Also. Whose the best dealer in Canada? I got a couple prices and it's I'm thinking it's still way cheaper to buy from the states after it's all said and done....

supposedly the swamp series is good for lots of water and supposed to be a quieter hunting friendly exhaust. But the swamp series xl is supposed to be loud like a regular hmf

What he said! I bought mine with the performance series and it is quite loud. I put the stock on it just to experience the difference and the performance is about twice as loud as stock.

I just bought the full hmf exhaust XL and I don't find it to overly loud but that's me. Where in Canada are you? If your in Vancouver best price is GVPS in Langley. I also got the HMF fuel optimizer and love the power increase

Standard swamp series is usually 2-3dB louder than stock, the XL is a lot louder. Tone is deeper so the sound travels a little more either way which can be deceiving and taken as louder when it really isn't.

I switched from the swamp series to the Two Brothers M7 exhaust and I couldn't be happier. The TB exhaust sounds badass and is way louder. Although I didn't have the XL just the regular swamp series. Still glad I switched over though, the TBR has such a nice rap rap to it

That Ron Woods is extremely loud! It's by far the loudest non-modified exhaust I've ever heard in person.

For all the dogging of HMF that goes on here, Ive been very pleased with the overall quality and fit and finish of my Performance Duals. Ive only heard a few other exhausts on a Can Am but the Performance Duals sounds the best to me. Deep rumble, not too raspy. Lets you hear that V twin talk!
This is just personal preference of course. Im sure there are other systems out there that sound good too.
