i just purchased a used hmf slip on for my 2007 500xt, the only part missing is the turnout cap.
should i order the turnout before i ride it? i wont be riding it much since i can take out the REV instead. but just to try it out, will it run too lean without the turnout?

That turn out is just an end cap. Shouldn't make much difference on making it run too lean. From what I've seen most people don't have problems with the older outlanders running too lean with a slip on. The new ones run lean from factory to pass the emissions test.

Thank you Ryder 1000, also have another silly question, I'm used to diesel that have straight pipes, etc, now with this hmf I can see right through it, is there supposed to be a plate or baffle in it to allow back pressure?
