I wanted to Know should I Keep my stock pipe or just get Tha HMF I heard it keeps water from coming in Without being on the throttle or is it all pipes like that?i go through stuff with my pipe underwater sometimes but I'd never let go cause I'm kinda of scared of what will happen so I'm askin all you pros out there for some good help also it would be a slip on pipe.
Well I'm going for that pipe for sure I stay around some water I just want a pipe that can handle my riding thanks for your help ultramag.&& did you notice any performance gains?i know it's just a slip on but I'm curious
Had a long convo w/ Greg (MrRPM) about Muzzy vs HMF Swamp.
He says that the Muzzy curves the pipe back so there are equal length headers and this generates a ton of heat under the plastics. Like intolorable. Also the HMF makes more power. Also the HMF is about $300 less.
Convinced me anyway. I was going muzzy, but now after talking with Greg at length I'm going to give the HMF Swamp a shot.
I dont have a Swamp series but my Performance series are awesome,!!!! They're freakin' loud.....according to my wife anyway i start it up in the garage and she can feel the rumble sitting in the living room, videos honestly don't do any HMF exhaust justice. Enjoy it though brother
Really didnt feel a lot of difference in power but i really like the way it sounds. It was very quiet when i first put it on but now it has gotten a little louder.
I am selling my HMF Swamp Series XL for the Renegade 1000. It comes with a programmer and K&N filter (both never used). It came with the atv when I bought it but I took the atv back to stock exhaust. It was used about 80 miles. If interested call or text me 319 239-9988. I should have posted this in the classifieds area but I thought more people might see it here.
