How are XMR's lifted compared to XTP's?

I've been trying to figure it out for the life of me. With the two machines side by side, we can't figure it out. Is it just springs? If so, do the XMR springs on an XTP work well for a lift? The threaded spring adjusters seem to be almost in the same position.
