Just about a 1000 2012 renegade and took it for its maiden voyage. Even with the grey key that thing has WAY to much power for riding in tight trails and trying to climb rocks .

Is there anyway I can adjust the throttle so it has more room and not so touchy or reduce the power ?

If not I’m gunna have to sell it

Trade it in for a 1994 quad sport 230 and pocket 12 grand.

Green key. Eco throttle setting.

Where is this screw ? Are there any negatives to screwing it all the way in
The screw is near where the cable goes into the throttle block. Phillips screw with lock nut.

Screwing it in limits the throttle range.

Screw it in as far as you need to.

Keep trying till you get it where you like it.

I'm trying to think if I've ever read anyone on any forum wanting LESS power out of their quad......

Nope, lol, pretty sure I can't recall..... guess that's where the saying "there's a first time for everything" comes from

You could get pcv and selector switch. Use 2nd map with a very slow throttle ramp for tight trails...
