Looking for information on scenic, high country trails in Idaho. We plan on riding in late August. We were originally thinking about Wallace but are not quite sure. We have ridden in Colorado and Utah and are looking for similar riding conditions.

Wallace and Kellogg area have some great riding. Everything from old logging and mining roads to 50" or less width atv trails to motorcycle only trails. We spend almost all our riding days over there since WA sucks for atvs overall. We ride over there about every 2-3 weekends in the summer and every 1-2 weekends in the winter on tracks.

I hear there are some good areas in southern Idaho, but I wouldn't go there in August myself.

Magruder Corridor

Check out the Magruder Corridor, a back country trip between Darby Montana and Elk City Idaho. You can actually start is Shoup Id and ride, if you don't mind a little back county atv camping.
