Get the XDS turbo replace the tie rods and have Don at Thuren Fabrication valve/new springs and you will be dialed in. The XDS has a longer wheelbase better shocks and cooling than the XRS. The maverick is great.... I have herd rumors than a new machine is coming in 2016. You can get the ECU reflash for even more HP.
Well ended up finding a 13' XRS with 600 miles on it. Paid 10600. Really only has cosmetic issues but the right rear tie rod is tweaked some. I had seen that the tie rods are a weak point on these and should be upgraded. Which ones are the ones to go with?
I'm on the fence about the tie-rods "issue", putting stronger ones in might make something else break over time in the steering and those power steering units are expensive. The energy that usually twists the tie-rod has to go somewhere when it hits.
I have a friend who has a spare set already pre-measured/adjusted to install in the trunk, last time it took him 3 minutes to replace one and keep going.
