Always not really liked the side/sides until the Commander and/or the new Maverick. And was gonna buy the wife an XMR 650 this summer. But with the new arrival we'll be needing something with seatbelts for the family to play together. Will be getting them a side/side to follow me on my XMR 1000. So it will be getting lifted, clutched, and new shoes to sling mud with. Let me see what everyone has and what's available for those 2 side/sides.

I have a 2013 commander 1000x carbon black but just got like three weeks ago so haven't done anything yet but I am like you would like info on clutching as I would like to go with a set of 29.5 " terminators.I already fried a belt last weekend with 26" bighorn's.

I've been running my stock belt with 32" silverbacks for 230 miles. smoked it once trying to climb over a fallen tree but still using it. it has one bad spot in it when you first give it gas but once you're barely going, you cant tell. was going to get an airdam clutch (supposed to be the badest thing out) but decided to sell my commander for a rzr 900. idk how to upload pics but here's the craigslist link. you can see it with the 2" lift, 32 backs, and snorkeled. 2012 can-am commander 1000xt

Thanks D.....it's a little premature but already looking at Limited Commanders...Lol. Just love the air ride and it already has the speakers and gps. Just waiting for PerformanceATV to come out with the 4-6" adjustable lift for them too. :D. The XMR will he getting that lift next spring. :D Look forward to your pics.

You just running a 2" lift?
No I have a 4" Catvos on it now, the 2.5" rubbed on the back tires. But man did I have a rough time with that Catvos lift nothing fit properly, and I had to re-machine both of the back arms.

My rubs a little in the back. With the puck lift. You ever heard of anyone running a 2" puck lift and a 2" bracket lift? I'm thinking about trying this out.

Looks like when the time comes I'll be getting a Maverick OR Commander. Only reason I'm undecided right now is because MAYBE they would come out with a "Limited" Maverick in 2014 with the DPS, stereo and GPS....the shocks on it would be sufficient instead of the air ride. Price isn't a real issue but either one WILL be getting tires, exhaust, tuner, snorkels, and clutch kit within first 25 hrs.

You guys are inspiring me! Just pick up a new 2012 800r last week and was not to sure about lifting it. I already ordered the Warn front bumper, BRP fender flare and RUNVA winch. Don’t want to go to crasy with the lift and after reading a few post, I like the 2" Highlifter you can install ½ the kit if you want!
