Does anyone have a link to where I can purchase a lower operating temperature thermostat for a 2013 Commander?

Thanks

What do you need a lower t stat for?

Unfortunately I don't know of anybody that makes one.

That’s seems to be the case. I’ve been all over the internet trying to find one. I’ve seen an old thread on here of someone who customized a 107 stat but that’s way too low for what I’d like to accomplish. I guess I’ll just have to deal with it.

Yeah that’s a possible solution. This was just the first step in seeing if anyone knew of an alternate t-stat for the holder. I can buy an aluminum tstat holder from Everything Can Am but through my correspondence with them they only sell the factory spec stat for their holder. The actual stat dimensions would be helpful provided those dimensions are listed on any possible alternative. Otherwise it’s a constant buy and return that I’d like to avoid.

When I had my 07 Outlander 800 there were no tuners or options. I was buds with the Tech at the BRP shop....I had purchased multiple snowmobiles there over the years....anyways he took a sled thermostat and turned it down to fit in a lathe. I don't remember the numbers (everything was in metric) but it was cooler than the ATV t-stat. I ran the custom T-stat and Engine Ice successfully for years.

Nowadays most guys just get a reflash to turn the fan on earlier and run longer...
