Hi everyone. So today I got this idea into my head to matte black my plastics on my can am. What is the best way to go about doing this? I have a friend who can paint them this color professionally at his body shop. Any tips or advice? Kinda looking to switch up the yellow look. thanks

Try to plastidip it. You can do it yourself. If you don't like it you can just peel it all off.

I'm sure if he has a body shop, he is well aware the prep is the mot important. Clean with a plastic cleaner, scotch brite, adhesion promoter then a good automotive paint. I would put 2 or 3 coats of satin clear on to slow the scratches. I painted mine over all most 3 years ago and 17,000 miles and still holding up well. If your not 100% sure you will like it, try the plastidip first.
