Long story short. I have a 2012 outlander 1000. Rearend starting making noise around 1000 miles. Full of metal and pinion gear coming apart. So bought a new one online from a can am dealer in TX. Put it on double checking everthing. IM a ford tech by trade and been working on 4 wheelers forever. Soon as i put it on notice its very noisy . Humming bad. louder the fast you go. I finally got pulled it apart again and drained the oil and the metalic in the oil bad. From what ive rear this is a reoccuring problem with the can am rear end. Would it even be worth it to call can am? Im not to happy about a brand new 800 part messed up from the factory. Ive bought can am since 07 and lover their product but me eating this rear diff is not something that i should be doing in my opinion. WHats yall take on this?
