New 800 Outlander Max Sputtering

I brought home my 2015 Outlander Max XT 800 a couple weeks ago. I love it, really powerful and taking some getting used to (my other machines are Polaris 550/RZR570). However, when its cold, it sputters and hesitates on acceleration. Not really a problem once its warmed up. Is this normal?
