My 2018 850 XMR has a broken frame. Insurance has wrote it off and I’m in the market for a new bike. I ride my bike pretty hard and XMR suspension sucks! Do I go with another XMR for mud / Trail with Elka stage 3’s or do I go with an outlander XCC add snorkel and rad relocate? I’m keeping my CV tech clutch off my XMR. Reason I ask is adding suspension to a xmr that much better or do I just buy the better trail machine. We ride more trail than mud now. But the XMR has tires rad etc. Some advice would be great.
Thanks!

Get a trail machine.

Also it's "than".

My .2, get another XMR and put Elka's on it.

It's a lot easier to me, to change out shocks, than snorkel kit and relocate rad. While the XXC shocks are better than the XMR, they're not Elka's, just sayin. Let BRP handle the snorkels and rad relocate, and you just upgrade the shocks.

My insurance company is TD Bank. I'm leaning towards another 850 XMR with Elka's stage 3 sport/ performance. Racing / high performance might be to aggressive. But I am 6 '5 300 pounds, I just don't want to write off my next quad!

What did you do to break your frame?

Check with elka and see that the shocks can be modified to fit your next machine, helps coughing up the $$ when you know you can roll the upgrade forward.

I only had factory shocks on my last quad. To be honest I broke my last bike riding it really hard. Its never been rolled or crashed. I was doing winter maintenance and going to replace the rear differential. While it was out I was cleaning and painting the frame. That's when I found the cracks. See attached pictures
