Just bought a new 2014 Outlander 650 DPS, pick it up thursday waiting for a bumper. Ive got plenty of questions that I should have had answers to prior to the purchase. I bought the 2 year warranty and now wonder if I can do my own service without voiding it. Also is there a chance I won't have rear diff problems. Sounds scary. Also looking for a good dealer in northern Wisconsin preferably Rice Lake area . I also own a polaris that I bought used, hoping for a better experience with the outlander.

Thanks

Welcome to the site. Keep your receipts and a maintenance log and you will be fine doing your own maintenance.

You shouldn't have any troubles with the rear diff either, not as more power to deal with, harder to break things compared t the 800 or 1000 models.

Thanks, good to know.
Don't worry about the diff. I have 17,000 hard miles on mine and it hasn't had an issue yet. I do change the diff oil 2 times per year, Maybe that helps.
